Blokus and Blokus Duo are amazing games. The game Pictures was a nice experience this christmas.
recommending games like parcheesi and uno…in 2023?
this was really nice to watch. great that you can get kids to grandparents involved
I picked up a family game due to its theme, a touring rock band. And it is not bad. It is Trollfest 3-5 players. You try to be one the the first 3 bands to play a city, get points for types of musicians in certain cities and bonus points for types of members in your band at the end of the game. Fun! Kids will love this. As an adult good scoring is a real challenge. Check it out.
We’ve really enjoyed outfoxed, once upon a castle, ice cool, zombie kids, and flip ships as a family.
My favorite board games are monopoly and chess.
Crokinole. For younger players, give them 2 re-tries. A lot of fun! It is pricey to buy the board, but you will have it for a lifetime (if you buy a good one) and the kids will introduce their friends to it.
Thanks…very useful….i have six kids and need to flex among them….you identified some ideas I can use
Yes to Sleeping Queens! My granddaughters love it. They’re 7 and 8. Nice to see some love for Gamewright games. They loved Outfoxed when they were younger, non-readers (ages 4 and 5) and I love playing those games with them! My grandsons just learned King of Tokyo and Downforce. Both hits for them! I love being their “gaming Grandma”.
Down voted this video because of Randy’s #1. The parcheesi/sorry/trouble family of games are the only games I refuse to play. (Not joking about parcheesi; am joking about the thumbs down.) Great video as always 👍
useful list for dads, but the best part is @7:40, when Nato is clearly making a mess in his right pocket –probably an explosion of whipped cream ?!??– and licking up his stickly fingers…
researched a couple of these immediately after viewing the video, thanks!
